Shane Holland is not just known in Ireland, his award winning work is featured at Eneko the 3 Michelin Star restaurant at One Aldwych in London, awarded best reataurant in a hotel via Casson Mann Architects and Diem Pottery who Holland collaborated with.
Holland has also just finished important signature lighting work on Belfast’s Titanic Hotel at the famous Harland and Wolff Drawing office where the Titanic was born. In this project Holland replicates the 1910 original fixtures but with LED circuits for modern hotel operation but within the bespoke and heritage nature of this amazing interior.
Recent projects include the Titanic hotel Belfast, The Marconi Station in Connemara for DBA and Galway Co Council / Failte Ireland , and One Aldwych Hotel London, all award winning projects in their own rights. Currently projects include the work on a large lighting installation for the Italian brand Bvlgari’s logistic hub in Dublin via Mercury Engineering.
Holland is presenting a new large versions of Cymbal at London Design Fair and Archi Expo in Dublin alongside ‘Petula’ an organic one off boasting 36 individually sculpted lights in a Petal like structure in vibrant green.
