Droplet chandeliers seek corporate home!

Returning for the 6th year to Architecture & Building Expo, Shane Holland Design Workshops are award-winning designers and makers of lighting, furniture, awards and sculptural works since 1991. Shane will bring some of his new experimental industrial mosaics to the show, including ‘’Radial Power’’, ‘’Reinvention’’, ‘’Red Work’’ and “19 Holes’’. He will also show the Aqua and Jade-coloured aluminium “Droplet Chandelier’’. These pieces were introduced during Galway Arts week and Shane is now seeking suitable corporate environment homes for them.

Shane has also updated hids tube lights which offer more generous lengths and wider diameter, “Flattened Tube Light’’ is new, and offered in an oxidised finish.

A special project to be unveiled is a new pendant light with Dublin-based, high-tech OLED start-up, Lightly Technologies.  This company headed by Matt Hanbury an ex Phillips lighting engineer, and Marketing Director Joe Farinella. It is an exciting R&D link-up for Shane Holland Design Workshops.

Shane will also present images of some of recent projects, including the 100ft stair light for St Stephens Green House for Aramark, and current projects with Henry J Lyons Architects, including stunning bespoke feature lights for Cardiff Lane, including new long tube lights over reception desk. Also featured will be the special cylindrical mesh reception lights for 75 St Stephens Green being worked on in conjunction with LUCA Architecture.
