Designed for historical and heritage buildings, the new VELUX Heritage conservation roof window has been specifically crafted to be in keeping with the heritage aesthetics of traditional buildings.
Co-created with conservation officers and architects, it meets the design requirements for -thermal performance, and seamless integration with the roof, make it an ideal choice.
The window features a slim, black exterior profile that blends seamlessly into the roofing materials. Its glass-to-edge technology maximises the entry of daylight. The window’s aesthetics resemble old cast iron skylights, and it utilises the original hand-winder for natural ventilation, creating a fresh indoor climate and a light-filled space.
Key features of the roof window include a thermal efficiency of Uw 1.3 W/m²K, manual top-hung operation, nine available sizes, flush installation, suitability for slates and plain tiles, compatibility with all VELUX translucent and blackout pleated blinds, rain noise reduction, safety lamination, toughened outer glass, easy-to-clean coating, UV filter, and compatibility with roof pitches between 20° and 65°.
As with all VELUX roof windows, the Heritage conservation roof window is built to last and undergoes extensive testing to ensure durability in any weather conditions.
