Lighting Association Ireland will have a major presence at the show with a unique lighting demonstration lighting up the exterior of the RDS; a lighting panel discussion between leading lighting experts and chaired by James Duff, who established and now heads up Arup’s lighting design business in Ireland; and a dedicated Lighting Pavilion featuring inter-active demonstration of:—
- Casambi, an open smart lighting ecosystem of 100% interoperable lighting products from hundreds of major lighting companies and service providers. Casambi is a full-featured, yet easy-to-use, wireless lighting control system suitable for all indoor applications. It is fast and easy to specify, use and maintain since all the wiring, and possible future re-wiring, can be made with software.
- Demonstration of street lighting with Smart City software. The software is a secure, connected lighting management platform that is helping cities become more liveable, efficient and sustainable. The software provides full visibility and control of cities’ street lighting from a centralised dashboard, allowing secure monitoring of light points, set schedules, and the facility to adjust light levels on demand.
- Through ACEC LAI has brought together their solution ECO System of partners which include Tridonic and amBX to demonstrate how the Tridonic Building Asset360 approach meets the challenges faced by asset managers, estate managers, facility managers and generally all clients trying to manage their lighting assets. The live demonstration will show data from lighting luminaires providing a proactive approach to lighting asset management, a balance between reactive and preventative maintenance, the area called Intelligent Maintenance, and all demonstrated on the amBX smartcore platform.
